During a transition of executive leadership, UpStart Chicago needed a dedicated professional to manage the Chicago winter launch event to celebrate the new entrepreneurial initiatives it was supporting.

Leslie Rosen Stern was hired to plan and implement program logistics within a very tight timeframe and fulfilled staffing, photography, audio-visual and print needs; negotiated venue contracts, arranged for accessibility, product deliveries, catering, and prepared event personnel. Working with UpStart colleagues in San Francisco, Leslie managed the guest list, payments, and successful set up and break-down of the event.
