Leslie provides critically needed social-emotional and mental health support for both the teens and staff in our care. I observed Leslie’s grounding inclusion efforts in action following the traumatic school shooting in Parkland, Florida, which affected a cohort of teens from our Gold Coast Region. She worked diligently to adjust itineraries, facilitate new program groups and supportive check-ins for teens and their staff most broadly affected by the crisis. Leslie is widely admired for her calm and pleasant demeanor, sensitive nature, superb listening skills, and can-do attitude. BBYO benefits from having Leslie on site for our immersive programming, and I look forward to working with her again in the future.

Leslie Rosen Stern truly shines as one of the most passionate, hardworking, caring, and flexible people I have ever worked with. Her thoughtful and natural leadership ability paired with her passion for youth makes her an incredible colleague. She makes teens feel safe and heard. Leslie plays a role in training the staff on mental health and ways to meet teen needs onsite. Leslie brings her professionalism, expertise, and warmth into everything she does. She has been an incredible asset to BBYO, and I truly enjoy working with her.
