In an effort to increase the number of participants in its programs, Spertus began a market study and needs assessment to learn about perceptions, habits, interests, and needs of adult Jewish learners in Metropolitan Chicago.
Meeting Your Mission conducted four focus groups to explore the participants’ habits and breadth of educational topics that might appeal to adults in the Jewish community. We examined programmatic details such as registration costs, content of course offerings, quality of instructors, location, and settings. In the final report we provided a summary of the data and formal recommendations for immediate implementation.
Working with Meeting your Mission was a remarkable experience. Leslie Rosen Stern is an outstanding professional, who took the time to understand the needs and context of our project, provided invaluable insights into the planning of the research and focus groups, and was an expert facilitator able to cull important insights from focus group participants. The results of the research were extremely valuable to our institution and the overall project.
