Meeting Your Mission was founded in 2013 to support the work of nonprofit, social service and educational organizations to further the work they do in “Meeting Their Mission” by applying best practices in strategic planning, research, and event and meeting management.




Leslie Rosen Stern

Leslie Rosen Stern (MA, MSW) is a seasoned professional with 25+ years of experience in the establishment and directorship of innovative initiatives and communal engagement. Leslie works collaboratively with nonprofit, community, and educational organizations to help advance initiatives and increase community engagement by applying best practices in strategic planning, research, and event management.

With an eye toward detail, she provides the opportunity for mission-driven organizations to elevate their impact through seamless, well-planned events in small and large-scale settings. Her warmth and curiosity make her uniquely suited for research projects that require an objective view and a deep dive into organizational and communal trends. With clinical social work training and a career history of supporting children, teens and families, she is well-matched to provide clinical training, support and program development for social service and youth organizations. Leslie brings energy, integrity, warmth and inquisitiveness to every project she begins and is proud to be associated with the organizations who become clients of Meeting Your Mission.

She holds a Masters in Social Work (MSW) from Columbia University, Master of Arts (MA) in Jewish Studies from the Jewish Theological Seminary, and is Certified in Nonprofit Management by Gratz College. She is married and the proud mother of two teenage sons.
