Meeting Your Mission was founded in 2013 to support the work of nonprofit, social service and educational organizations to further the work they do in “Meeting Their Mission.”  We are dedicated to facilitating individual and organizational growth by providing enterprising, guiding leadership to advance initiatives and increase community engagement.




Leslie Rosen Stern

Leslie Rosen Stern (MA, MSW) is a seasoned professional with 25+ years of experience in the establishment and directorship of innovative initiatives in communal engagement. Leslie works collaboratively with mission-driven organizations to facilitate growth by applying best practices in coaching and career development, social research, wellness, and meeting and event management.

Her warmth and curiosity make her uniquely suited for community research projects that require an objective view and a deep dive into organizational and communal trends. With clinical social work training, strengths-based coaching skills, and a career history of supporting teens and families, she is well-matched to provide training and mentorship for immersive program settings and summer camps. She is a compassionate leader and enjoys working with all age groups from emerging young leadership to experienced executives. With an eye toward detail, she provides the opportunity for mission-driven organizations to elevate their impact through seamless, well-planned events in small, private settings. Leslie brings energy, integrity, warmth and inquisitiveness to every project she begins and is proud to be associated with the individuals and organizations who become clients of Meeting Your Mission.

She holds a Masters in Social Work from Columbia University and a Master of Arts in Jewish Studies from the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York. Additional training includes a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Gratz College in Pennsylvania and certification in Youth Mental Health First Aid from the National Council for Behavioral Health. She is married and the proud mother of two sons, and together they call Chicago home.
